Easy Like Sunday Morning

I've come to the the conclusion that there should be a day in between Saturday and Sunday and that Sunday's are strictly meant for NetFlix Binging and brunch! haha.

Can you guess how I spend my Sunday?

It's been a brisk 70 degrees all week so I kept my weekend attire simple and casual. I paired my favorite Aldo Boots with a cotton striped tank and a denim jacket for Sunday Brunch.

I hope you all have a wonderful week. I'll be catching up on the newest episodes of Girls.

Catch you later!

Favorite Leather Jacket

So, I had been completely lusting over this Zara Leather Jacket for months and finally got it as a gift. I love the quilted detailing and the zippers on the sleeves that make it look much more expensive than it is.
It's a great buy for any budget and is completely wearable with almost any outfit.

I'm a complete minimalist so I stick to the basics.

Hope you have a great rest of the week

Holiday Party

Christmas is so close I can already smell the hot cider and imagine the drunken debauchery that will be happening at this years' Christmas party. Ahhh, how I love tradition. (Haha)

Anyway, tis the season for many holiday parties whether it be a work event or a friend's party it's the one time of year you can get away with excessive sparkle and glitter without looking like Ke$ha's long lost sister..
So, do it up! There is nothing wrong with a little glitz and some sparkly additions to your wardrobe.
I had the pleasure of going to my first Holiday party of the season and decided to go with simple a satin blazer and faux leather leggings with Sky high heels and sparkling accessories made for a pretty and easy to put together look. When in doubt, go with simple.

Enjoy Your week and try not to get too wasted or inappropriate at those corporate events at work.. I learned the hard way haha.

Weekend Classic

Closet Basics

I am all about the basics and really love a minimalist style for the weekend. I picked up this cute and comfy black striped top and paired it with a Forever 21 Blazer and Shorts. You literally cannot go wrong with basic black and white and a pop of color. Add a structured bag and some cute flats or heels and  you're ready for some fun weekend activities.

Have a Great Week Gals.
Stay warm!

Throwback Thursday

Fashion in the Early 2000's.

So, I started thinking about the trends I've seen within the millennial generation and couldn't really think of any that clearly stood out as being definitive of our generation. Sure, we've had some not-so proud moments; trucker hats, ultra-low jeans, pajama wear as formal wear and uggs and mini-skirts but are there any trends we'd recycle again?

Probably not. Unlike past generations that have provided us with so many great fashion trends we continually recycle we have more don'ts then dos. I know I've jumped on the bad trend bandwagon plenty of times and someday when I muster up the courage I'll show you some of those terribly embarrassing pictures! haha.

While, I have to say that there are many inspirational fashion-forward people today I think we need to start creating some trends that will at some point become "classics."

Let's take a look at some of the fashions of the early 2000s.
